Google Sitemaps

Tell Google how their spiders should crawl your site, or when you have new content available for indexing. Google Sitemaps is basically a website crawling submission and notification system. You submit a sitemap to Google in one of several approved formats, and tell their SEO crawlers as to how frequently to crawl your site. Not only does this get your new stuff indexed faster - it’s absolutely essential for those with dynamic site content. NOTE: This does not replace Google’s regular crawling and indexing system; in their own words, “A Sitemap simply gives Google additional information that we may not otherwise discover.”

This website provides an easy method you can use for both google and yahoo sitemap inclusion:

New websites face a struggle in terms of getting appropriately ranked on Google. The process that can take months as you build your virtual linking relationships and history. You can use this tool to detect whether you rank disproportionately poorly in Google’s rankings as compared to other search engines. Simply enter your URL and you will be given your results and an overall score based on how disparate your results are and the relative strength of SEO factors such as your links, your site age, your PageRank and so on. From this information you can determine whether you have a sandbox issue… or whether your site is simply not very well optimized for Google.
